Please find attached the Power Supply and Distribution Systems Technology Assessment Report (Draft for Discussion) for the Electrification Study. This document identifies and assesses the broad range of potential electrification system technologies that could be used to provide power for future GO rail services.
We are distributing this report – the latest in a series of technical reports prepared as part of the Electrification Study – to all those who registered and attended the Electrification Study Update Meeting (Georgetown Corridor) to ensure that you are kept up-to-date about progress on the Electrification Study and are able to review and provide comments on the technical outputs of the study.
A copy of the report will also be posted on the Electrification Study website at www.gotransit.com/estudy. We encourage you to visit the website for more information about the study and to submit any input that you have via our online comment form.
